I'm Blogger and a Las Cruces High Bulldogger!

Can you believe it?! My 40th High School reunion is next month! I wish I could see everybody from our class of 1968. But then I have just as many great friends from '69 & '67. Being so far away up here in Salt Lake, I really miss good ol' Las Cruces and it's south western appeal. Oh those beautiful Organ Mountains and the terrific sunsets! I wish I could share my darling family with Las Cruces.
I have one terrific son, Philip, (What a handsome stud if I do say so myself) a successful land developer who rocks at ALL sports and raising his three, soon to be four precious girls, Sydney, Saidey, Sophie,  and "fetal princess" .  His blonde and beautiful wife Monica, such a precious sweetie,  was voted "Favorite Teacher "at her High School!!!My five girls include Michele a blonde, green eyed (sometimes they're ocean blue)  mother of three, Kayla, Trevor, and Kezra,  married to Mr. Awesome, Kyle the Tile contractor  .. and  camper/hunter is his game . Michele is some gardener and business manager! (yes i am a grandma seven times!) Then there is Cynthia living in Germany with my grandbeagle Scarlet, waiting for their true love, Cpt. Joseph Swisher, to come home from Iraq!(second and last tour)  Cynthia recently graduated with her bachelor degr
ee and is now working on her masters!  Holly & Heather, the half identical twins, are both state champs in High School high jump, violin players, and track athletes at Weber State University. Holly, our newly licensed dental hygienist,  married Sam North this last summer, one of the Weber football athletes. We love him to pieces. Heather is finishing up her schooling at Weber to be a teacher and a coach.  (IS IT STILL BRAG TIME?????)    Then there is our baby Tennile. She is our little girl with the big Opera voice. Man you should hear her perform! She was crowned Miss Bluffdale 2007. What honors she has received. She has recently transferred to Utah State University in Logan where shes currently singing with the OPERA company there.  (Send 10 dollars for a copy of her CD!!!!)
My hubby is as handsome as ever and I have forgiven him for graduating from Mayfield High! He's a darn good contractor and a very hard worker. He can do most anything!! He and my son built...builded...(where's an English teacher when you need one)  us  the most beautiful house in the whole wide world and  has our family prepared for any disaster imaginable. We're in good hands :) My sweet little  81 year old mommy still lives south of Mesilla Park on the old cotton farm that has bloomed into acres of pecan trees. Dad passed away about 12 years ago.
I love to remember and dream about the good ol' days! I hope to hear from any friends and family soon! Love you all!       TREECE
